The current "overnighter" BIPURGE job only currently hits the BI schema in the reporting database, not the OA star schema.
This means that any clients using the OA schema instead of/in addition to the BI schema can't take advantage of this job to regularly purge old BI data for completed work as a regular BAU activity.
Suggestion would be to enhance BIPURGE, or (better?) add a new "DIMENSIONALPURGE" batch job, in the same way we have two BI mapper jobs.
N.B: Using DID can/will get rid of OA data - but that's not a BAU utility, due to the need to identify/stage purge candidates in advance of execution.
