It would be really user friendly if, when you'd updated an environment variable and clicked 'Apply'. that a pop-up window showed what variables were being updated and giving you the option to not change them (in case of something changed in error).

Or, could it highlight which environment variables have changed, like it does when you change a scheduled, by putting a '*' next to it ?

Unlike process and object update history we should have it for Environment variables as well.
Secondly, A feature should be available to Import/export environment variables from excel

Hi Graeme,

Hi @Graeme Tacon,

Thank you for taking the time to raise an idea.

We plan to update the way that the Environment Variable screen works in future as we transition this into Next Gen which will make it much harder to apply accidental updates which should, as a result, resolve the underlying concern that this idea was intended to address.

Having considered your idea and the other work we have planned for Environment Variable management, I've decided to mark this as Not Planned at this time.

Regards,

Rob
