Hi,

I think that's very important to exposure Process/Objects as API REST, because integrate the RPA solution with modern model microservices architectures.

Use Cases/Scenarios:
- External Web/App that invoke a process. via API Restful services.

Arturo

In modern IT landscapes, it will be of central importance in the future that Blue Prism can act as a REST endpoint. Are there specific time horizons when BP will offer this option?

Its an Great idea, and to make it even more powerfull if you could create queue items through REST APIs.

Hello @ArturoOrellana,

We introduced a RESTful API alongside Blue Prism 7.0 in 2021 to support greater extensibility.  Our API provides a series of predefined capabilities that can be used by custom solutions to interact with Blue Prism programmatically using a RESTful API.

The Online Help Blue Prism API shows what is currently available and provide access to the Blue Prism API with an OpenAPI v3 specification file.  The API has been extended with Blue Prism 7.1 to support the capability to trigger processes on Digital Workers, this addition covers your request, thank you.

Pro Tip: We consume the same API ourselves to server the browser-based Control Room within Blue Prism Hub.

@Sigmund Andersen The capability to add work queue items via a centralised RESTful API is also included in 2021 too.

Kind regards

Chris Strong
