GUI Update to stages on screen

would like a GUI update to the stages on the tool bar to make them differentiated more easily. Think the layout is pretty painful to scan your eyes over and even something very small like some delineating lines would go a long way to making the stages more readable/differentiable and easier to use.

Agree, the UI is very much like Visio 2010, that is over 2 decades old. 

Have also asked to be able to hide/show the toolbar to get more canvas space when you do not need the toolbar. Seems like an easy job to me, but not implemented.
