I have a similar requirement. I have a filed in BP Interact form which contains sensitive data, I have used the feature called - 'Mask Data on Submission' to protect the data entered. When I executed 'Get Submission' action in my Blue Prism process, I was able to see this sensitive information which I had masked. So it is better to have a field type called - Password/Secure to handle sensitive data.
Password fields can be created in excel by applying Mask data on entry and optionally Purge data on submission and I believe Seema has also raised that below, but included a challenge which I've summarized as:
"When using Get Submission in a Blue Prism process, the collection returned shows the value that was not obfuscated and was plain text"
I will allow this to flow through the idea process which will be trigger to the next stage when its near/hit the vote threshold.
