Hi,

This is more of a request than a question but not sure if there is a feature request section.
We like to use the Notes element in Studio to give details and context as to what the section is doing, or in an object to explain why something might happen.

We are using Notes to do this but they are not really the best, it would be good if this could be updated so it is like a regular text box (such as this).

It would be really helpful to be able to format text in sections rather than it just being Centred and all or nothing in terms of size, colour, font etc.

This would allow better notes to be added and really bring to life what the automation is doing at that part of the process.

Hi @jgregor4! We do have a product suggestions space and I'll move your post there now 🙂

Thanks for sharing your idea!

I have seen notes used to split up flows clearly into sections by changing the colour of the note and putting the note around parts of the flow.  So a note might be called "Get Work Section", and it would be coloured and around everything to do with loading and getting work queue.  I never did this but it did make the flows of those who did look colourful and clear.

Also, as a side 'note':  These are the types of notes I used to use back in my BP user days:

General notes:  these had no colour and were general descriptions of what my flow was doing or a part of the flow that might need explaining (i.e. i had tried the usual way of doing something and it did not work so i had to do a workaround).  Is usually had these notes in green to signify it was completed and tested logic.

Development notes - these were notes I used during development in case I got hit by a bus:

Red Note:  These were notes i used during development to signify something was missing from my flow that still needed work.  So a Red Note might say:  logic for x scenario needs to go here.  When I started building a solution it would be full of red notes all over the place, when I was complete there would be none.

Amber Note:  These were notes to signify something I had built but i was not 100% sure about my logic and needed to ask the SME about it during a verification walk through.  It might say something like 'Not sure about this bit,  would it not be better to navigate to x screen instead??'.
