Object Search In BluePrism

Problem Statement:

In BluePrism version 6.4.1  to 6.7.1  we don't have option for searching an Object .In most of the cases we need to call the objects from processes using Action stage.

Manual searching and adding action in workflows is tedious and time consuming process.
 

Resolution: 

To overcome this issue we need add search engine for BluePrism which will allow us to search and copy the actions into the workflow.

Implementation:

Created PowerShell script which act as a search engine for BluePrism objects. Search the object and copy the required action to clipboard.

Usage: 

  • Right click and run the script using PowerShell

Hello @ArjunGowdaKR,

Thanks for taking the time to raise an idea.

We introduced the ability to search/filter the process/object list in Blue Prism Enterprise in the v6.8 release and around the same time (if not slightly before) we also introduced the ability to type directly into the Business Object field of action stages to filter the resulting list of objects that appear in the drop down.

Based on these other enhancements, I'm going to mark this idea as Not Planned, unless you feel that these other changes satisfy the intention of your idea in which case I'll be happy to flip the status over to Delivered.
