At this moment when a task in a scheduler is no longer relevant, we change the on complete of the previous task. The not-relevant task will still be visible in the scheduler and this is confusing en messy.

I understood that removing a task is no option because of the existing archive logs.

We would like to have the possibility to retire tasks from the scheduler that are no longer relevant so that the task is not visible in the scheduler anymore.

Hello @MarleenHordijk,

Thanks for taking the time to raise an idea.

At this time, we do not plan to enhance the scheduler within Blue Prism Enterprise with regards to how granularly users can retire different aspects of a schedule. In the scenario that you describe above, the best approach would be to clone the schedule, make the amendments that you need to make to the copy and then delete the now redundant tasks from the newly cloned schedule (which has not run yet, so it has no logs preventing deletion of tasks). The original schedule can then be retired.

Based on this update, I'm going to mark this idea as Not Planned.

Regards,

Rob
