Sources can be uploaded through various interfaces -

and the Filename is currently a line of business field which is set on create. There is a current limitation of 75 characters and most of these interfaces will truncate the value to fit within the constraint. Although you cannot change the file name as it is dragged/dropped or uploaded from the desktop, this field is editable after creation if it is placed on the form.
