When a schedule is started and the resource is offline it is not shown in the reports. (Not in the list.)

Would be great to have a all planned executions, and a red (X) on a schema even though the reason was not the scheduler.

Hello Hakan,

Could you provide more information about where you see this behaviour when a schedule starts and the resource is offline? If you could provide more information about where you would expect to see this currently and don't that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Robert and the BP Team.

What I'm thinking of is the Scheduler Report section. I know that the header of the tab state: "Reports - View schedules and tasks that have run in the past" and as the schema never started it's not in the list. But frankly, if you schedule a schema to run at noon, you would expect it to show up, but failed.

OK ;  Uploading images seems to be problematic. Let me know if you need it and I'll send it in other channels.

Hello @HakanEngman,

I believe that even if a schedule does not trigger at the time it was expected to run (due to resource availability or any other factor) it should still show in the recent activity report as a failed schedule.

Can you confirm whether you're still seeing this in your current version of Blue Prism Enterprise?

Marking this idea as Needs More Info awaiting your feedback.

hello, I also find the point very important. If a resource is in warning status and blocks other schedules it would be great if in control room the skipped processes were listed.

Hello @tim.dauti,

I think that your comment is a separate idea to the one that Hakan has raised - his is about the visibility of failed schedules in the schedule report lists, if I'm interpreting it correctly then I think yours refers to seeing "missed" sessions appearing in the session list when a schedule is skipped.

This being said, I do think that's also a legitimate idea to raise, though I'm conscious of how "busy" a large environment could quickly become I don't think it would be a bad idea to show missed sessions in the list, at least temporarily, to make things more obvious for controllers.

Maybe on to raise as a separate idea and see how well it tracks with the rest of the community?

Regards,

Rob
