Work Select - Configure and secure global settings for count and release by group

We have different Business Areas who like their users to get different amount of work while they use get work (work select). Currently this is a global setting. We like to have the ability to set the count per work group or Business Area/WorkType. Another setting is release on log off that would be helpful to follow similar path.

Added to Enhancement Board for User Administration - This console setting is a global resource today, but you are suggesting it can/should be a user setting.

Any thoughts on whether or not either the number of items or the decision to keep a work selected item assigned on logoff could/should be a User Level preference or would it always be secured at a group level?
