Application modeller question

Hi team, 
i've just finished the academy but i've a doubt about application modeller.
In particular with a web automation, with internet explorer. 
Every "Element" (ex. Home page, search box, order details page, confirmation page) on application modeller must be a "window" type? Or "html" type?
And after that, if i have multiple screen to automate (ex. Home page, search box, order details page, confirmation page) is better to use one object or four object in this case?
