I was working with powerpoint, i was not able to attach an instance of the powerpoint which is already opened using the handle. i was using code to while trying to attach by passing handle.

If the application that you are dealing with is Internet Explorer, alternatively you could use combination of 'ALT+Space+x' for maximizing and combination of 'ALT+Space+n' for minimizing.
And I would suggest to Activate Application before y...
