As we continue our celebration of the SS&C Blue Prism Community’s anniversary, we are shining the spotlight on two extraordinary individuals who have made invaluable contributions to our shared space. These two members are familiar faces around the Community and are known for their dedication and expertise. Their willingness to help others has earned them the title of our most helpful Community members. Congratulations @harish.mogulluri and @devneetmohanty07 !

A Conversation with Harish Mogulluri and Devneet Mohanty
Can you tell us a little about your background and how you first got involved with the SS&C Blue Prism Community?
Harish:
"I have a background as a programmer, and my journey into RPA began when I developed a keen interest in exploring emerging technologies. With support from my employer, ICS Global Soft Inc, and encouragement from colleagues, I ventured into the field of RPA. It has proven to be one of the most rewarding decisions of my career. As I immersed myself in RPA, preparing for certification and learning from others on different platforms, I eventually discovered the SS&C Blue Prism Community. Here, I found a wealth of resources, engaging discussions, and invaluable support that significantly accelerated my learning and growth in robotic process automation."
Devneet:
"I began my career as a Java developer before transitioning to SAP PI/PO, and eventually discovering Blue Prism. This journey led me to tackle numerous complex business problems using a variety of RPA tools, IDP technology, scripting languages, and low-code app development platforms. My growing enthusiasm for Intelligent Automation was fueled by witnessing the challenges many professionals faced daily. This motivated me to contribute actively to the Blue Prism Community, aiming to make a meaningful impact."
What motivated you to become such an active contributor to our community? Can you share a specific moment or experience within the community that stands out to you?
Harish:
"There are several reasons that drive my active participation:
- Passion for Learning and Sharing: I have a strong passion for learning from others and sharing my knowledge with them.
- Challenge and Fulfillment: I feel an adrenaline rush when I tackle unique challenges. Answering questions and solving problems in the community provides me with a sense of fulfillment and energy.
Staying Updated: Participating in the community helps me stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Blue Prism and robotic process automation. - Belief in Learning Diversity: I believe in the diversity of learning methods. Learning can occur through reading documentation, hands-on practice, and teaching others—whether by answering questions or creating educational content like video tutorials
I believe that Blue Prism community provides me with a valuable platform to share my knowledge and skills while also learning from others in a collaborative environment.
There have been many enriching discussions and posts in the community, but one standout moment for me was participating in a discussion around 2019 about how SharePoint 2013 and 2016 sync with the network drive. This experience was particularly memorable due to the experience working with different clients in my RPA career.
Other notable experiences include:
- Insightful Experience Sharing: I found a detailed explanation of someone's experience with the latest release of Blue Prism between 2021 and 2022 to be highly informative and relevant.
- Diverse Perspectives: In another post, around 4 to 5 different individuals contributed their unique perspectives. @Tejaskumar_Darji contribution stood out to me a unique perspective over others and it will definitely an inspirational value.
- Posts from @devneetmohanty07 provide valuable insights and are essential reading for anyone in the community seeking in-depth knowledge.
Due to the nature of the post, I will have missed other experiences and active members who have participated and contributed actively to the community"
Devneet:
"My primary motivation was my own experience as a newcomer in the intelligent automation field. Without proper guidance, it can be a daunting journey. I decided to help others by sharing the knowledge I accumulated over six years. A memorable experience was assisting a new member with a particularly challenging issue and later receiving their heartfelt gratitude for the support that significantly boosted their confidence and learning."
How has your involvement in the community impacted your professional development and career?
Harish:
"My involvement in the community has significantly impacted my professional development and career in several ways:
- Bringing Unique Perspectives: Active participation has allowed me to bring unique perspectives to my job and handle day-to-day challenges more effectively.
- Networking Opportunities: It has provided me with valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals, fostering meaningful relationships and collaborations.
- Building Reputation: By contributing actively, I've been able to build my reputation as a knowledgeable and reliable professional within the industry.
Overall, my engagement in the community has been instrumental in my continuous learning journey, facilitating valuable connections, and providing a platform to showcase my expertise. It has truly been a cornerstone of my professional growth and development."
Devneet:
"Being active in the community has significantly broadened my professional network, allowing me to connect with individuals globally and assist them with their automation challenges. This involvement has not only enhanced my reputation as an expert in Intelligent Automation but also provided opportunities for collaboration and growth, leading to meaningful professional relationships."
What are some of the key trends or innovations in intelligent automation that you’re excited about?
Harish:
"I'm particularly enthusiastic about the future evolution of intelligent automation, especially with advancements in big data, machine learning, cybersecurity, and the anticipated development of AI. These areas are pivotal in shaping the future of automation by enabling more sophisticated decision-making processes, enhancing data processing capabilities, and bolstering security measures."
Devneet:
"The integration of AI, particularly with large language models and various AI-based models, is currently a major focus for me. I am working on combining these advancements with RPA to create innovative solutions. Additionally, I am deeply interested in data analytics and process discovery to help clients identify bottlenecks and optimize their automation strategies."
In your opinion, what sets the SS&C Blue Prism Community apart from other tech communities?
Harish:
"In my view, what distinguishes the SS&C Blue Prism Community is its exceptional level of active participation from the Blue Prism team. Whether addressing technical inquiries or discussing non-technical topics, the consistent engagement and direct involvement of the Blue Prism team stands out. Their proactive approach not only supports community members in resolving issues and sharing knowledge but also fosters a collaborative environment that promotes learning and growth in robotic process automation (RPA)."
Devneet:
"The SS&C Blue Prism Community excels due to its collaborative ethos. Members work together to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions, fostering a culture where diverse approaches are embraced. The community’s supportive nature ensures that everyone can contribute and benefit from collective knowledge, making it a truly unique and enriching environment."
Looking ahead, what are your hopes and aspirations for the future of our community?
Harish:
"I strongly believe that with the proactive involvement of the Blue Prism team and the continuous implementation of new changes, our community is heading in the right direction. My hope is to see the community grow even stronger as a hub of collaboration and innovation in robotic process automation (RPA)."
Devneet:
"I hope to see today’s mentees evolve into mentors, continuing the cycle of knowledge sharing and support. My aspiration is for more individuals to join our MVP family, contributing to the community’s growth and helping it reach its full potential. I envision a future where our community continues to excel in solving complex business problems and fostering professional development."
Do you have any advice for new members who want to get the most out of their participation in our community?
Harish:
"I would advise new members to start by exploring the "Get Started" section of the community, as it offers valuable suggestions and insights for newcomers. Pursuing certification can significantly deepen your understanding and proficiency in Blue Prism. Additionally, actively engage in discussions, share your experiences, and seek guidance from more experienced members. It's also beneficial to look for mentors who can provide personalized advice and help you achieve your objectives in the RPA field more efficiently."
Devneet:
"My advice is to stay active and engaged. Even if you’re not ready to provide solutions immediately, immerse yourself in the discussions and learn from the shared experiences. Over time, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to contribute effectively. This collaborative learning process not only enhances your professional skills but also enables you to assist others, fostering mutual growth within the community."
