SS&C | Blue Prism® 6.10.6 and Capture 4.0.1 now available

We are pleased to announce two new patch releases in the SS&C | Blue Prism® product portfolio, Blue Prism 6.10.6 and Capture 4.0.1.

Blue Prism 6.10.6

This release addresses several issues reported against SS&C | Blue Prism® 6.10. For more information, see Blue Prism 6.10 known issues.

The following new capabilities are also included in this release:

Native Browser Automation Agent capabilities – Users can continue to automate and insert and invoke custom JavaScript into browsers using Manifest V3 extensions without the need for additional system component installation.

Accessing Blue Prism 6.10.6 and associated user guides

You can download Blue Prism 6.10.6 from the customer portal.
You can access the release notes and associated guides for version 6.10.6 in the online documentation.

Upgrading to Blue Prism 6.10.6

Customers considering an upgrade to Blue Prism 6.10 should consider upgrading directly to 6.10.6.
Blue Prism 6.10.6 only includes Manifest V3 browser extensions. For more information, see the Manifest V3 FAQs and the Blue Prism browser compatibility matrix.
Blue Prism 6.10.6 does not require a new license key unless upgrading from version 4.2 or earlier. For information about applying the update to existing environments and further details about the changes introduced in the release, refer to the release notes and upgrade notices.

Capture 4.0.1

This release addresses an issue which occurs if logging is enabled when running the Capture 4.0 MSI.

We recommend the use of the Capture 4.0.1 installer for all new installations. Users who have already installed Capture 4.0 do not need to upgrade.
