SS&C Blue Prism 7.4.2 is available now

Hello Community,

We've just made SS&C Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4.2 available for everyone to download! This update contains several fixes and minor improvements.

 

What's new?

• SAP-related actions in business objects are now able to interact with SAP controls as expected. SAP-related Navigate stages now display input parameters, and input parameter values imported via releases from earlier versions are now retained.
  
  
• Activating a second window of the same application now brings the window forward as expected.
  
  
• An intermittent issue when attempting to create a session either manually via Control Room or via a schedule, which resulted in a timeout exception message and the session not being created, has been resolved.
  
  
• Automations can now interact with an instance of Microsoft Edge browser in IE mode immediately after launch, without the need to add a Wait stage.
  
  
• Microsoft Edge browser instances with “Start-up boost” enabled can now be automated.

• Access the release notes and associated guides for version 7.4.2 in the online documentation.

 

Upgrading to Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4.2

• Customers considering an upgrade to Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4 should consider upgrading directly to 7.4.2.
• Blue Prism Enterprise 7.4.2 does not require a new license key unless upgrading from version 6.10 or earlier.
• For information about applying the update to existing environments, and further details about the changes introduced in the release, refer to the release notes and upgrade notices.
