We're delighted to announce the availability of SS&C | Blue Prism® Enterprise 7.2.1. This release addresses several issues reported against Blue Prism 7.2. For more information, see Blue Prism 7.2 known issues.
Some highlights from this release include:
- Automations will no longer experience delays when attaching to browsers that have already been attached to other business objects.
- Action stages that use internal business object actions can now be created and edited in Design Studio in languages other than English.
- Active Directory (AD) users assigned to a security group nested under more than one group in AD are now granted the correct permissions when assigned user roles in Blue Prism.
- Environment variable drop-down lists in Process and Object Studio now show in alphabetical order, as in previous versions.
- Control Room users can check and set start-up parameter values for individual sessions within scheduled tasks.

- You can download Blue Prism 7.2.1 from the Blue Prism customer portal.
- You can access the release notes and associated guides for version 7.2.1 in the online documentation.
Upgrading to Blue Prism Enterprise 7.2.1
- Customers considering an upgrade to Blue Prism 7.2 should consider upgrading directly to 7.2.1.
- Blue Prism 7.2.1 does not require a new license key unless upgrading from version 6.10 or earlier. For information about applying the update to existing environments and further details about the changes introduced in this release, refer to the release notes and upgrade notices.
