We are excited to announce our Community member of the month for September: @Zdeněk Kabátek
Zdenek has been a community all rounder in September, started threads, providing answers for other members threads, as well as has submitting an idea to our Ideas Portal. Thank you Zdenek!
Tell us a bit about yourself and how did you start in RPA / Blue Prism?.
I have been working in IT over 25 years now. 9 years ago my friend Jan told me about RPA and Blue Prism software. When I saw it and tried it I knew it was something which could change the way business departments were working. We were the first Blue Prism partner out of continental Europe and we pioneered the way to success in Central and Eastern Europe.
Most interesting automation using Blue Prism? / Best tip you have learnt for Blue Prism?
It is hard to say which automation has been most interesting. I like automations where you encounter challenges you need to resolve. And that is the thing about Blue Prism Products – there is always a solution to the challenge however difficult and challenging it can be.
You clearly know your stuff - why do you come to the Community everyday?
There are two reasons why I come to the Community as often as possible:
- I like helping people, I am happy to help other members on their learning path as much as possible.
- There are always interesting topics and challenges being discussed. Most of which are resolved by other community members or Blue Prism employees, so one can always learn from others who may have more experience in other area.
What automation have you been involved with that you’re most proud of?
It wouldn’t be one automation but rather a type of automation where you need to use Blue Prism code stage to achieve something which could not be achieved otherwise. So these would be “integration” automations with various third party systems like IBM or public registry with specific webservices authentication.
What's your favourite use case?
Automation of processes which are complex and if possible end-to-end in Financial sectors like mortgages or loans processes.
If you could change one thing about Blue Prism, what would it be?
Even though Process Studio and Object Studio are very efficient for work their UI looks quite outdated. It would definitely need some new and fresh look.
Do you have names for your digital workers?
Well, I always suggest that to our customers to call digital workers by names and they do it.
What do you love most about the Community?
The Community is a mixture of all types of people from beginners to very experienced members.
Tell us about a current hobby
I love reading SF.
What would you most like to automate that you haven’t been able to yet?
I would like to automate some process where various technologies would be used, i.e omnichannel communication (chatbots), intelligent decisioning, NLP, Computer Vision, etc.
