Believe I found a rather annoying issue with MS Excel VBO 10.1.11.
The Write Collection (Fast) action to be specific.
When attemping to write a collection to a spreadsheet, if the collection is blank, you will recieve the super generic "Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC".
I was able to work around this issue by checking the number of rows in the collection before attempting to write the collection to a spreadsheet.
My question is as follows:
Why are blank collections not catered for in the VBA code??
This seems like a rather large oversight.
Can this please be addressed in the next version of the Excel VBO.
Hopefully this post will save someone the few hours I spent trouble shooting this issue.
