How to check if an application is connected if it has not launched?

Hi,

I want to check if an application is connected or not if it has not launched? Any idea how we may do it?

Hi,

If you try to launch or attach you will get an exeption.

In my robots I have a simple "try catch" to check this.

Assume the following flow, where you read if it is connected if you can activate and if in case it follows an execution and if it is not connected you use a browse passing the root element and give an attach

In case you wish to check if Object is connected or not , you can use the Read Stage shown below 

You will have to drag and drop the root element and Select "Is Connected " in the drop down.
The output would be a Flag data item which would contain TRue/False depending on if the app is connected or not
