6.4.1- failed to update resourcepc details on the database

​Hi All,

We have noticed VDIs connected to control room disconnecting intermittently from the control room . Some occurrences VDis are coming back to connected state and mostly disconnected from the environment on a permanent basis . While analysing the VDI the resource PC with stopped state . This happening intermittently in our environment. With different VDIs . Please advise.

This was an issue that was fixed in Version 6.5.

P.S. It always best to open a ticket in cases like this.

Hi Michael,

Even we have seen this issue and yes it's intermittent. If I don't want the current version to be upgraded then what solution will you recommend to resolve this issue? Please suggest.

Moreover, is it specified in the release note that this problem has been resolved in version 6.5?

I believe it is part of the fix marked as bg-2579 in the release notes. To be honest, it is not obvious from the description. 

Unfortunately I know of no workaround. The only permanent solution is to upgrade, and if you're going to do that I would suggest going the very latest version.

We also have the same issue I believe. We have today updated our environment to newest version(6.7.1.21315) and this issue still exist. See screen shot for verification of this being the same error. Please advice on how to solve this connection problem?

Hi Frank. 
Sorry to hear you're having this problem. That error can be present in circumstances other to the bug I previously mentioned. For example, simply a loss of connectivity to the Database, or an issue with the Database itself. 

Regardless, I think it would be wise for you to raise a support Ticket for this. Our CS team should be able to investigate this deeper for you.
