Hi team,
I notice an error on BP docs - Decipher | help - while switching Decipher versions from the dropdown.
The page is there but the URLs are different causing these error so users will have to go back all way to the homepage of BP docs and then go down again to find this page for the new version.
Can this please be fixed for a better experience for users?

Hi Tejaskumar,
It looks like you might be accessing the online help from an old link, is this something you've got saved in your shortcuts? It would be best to update it as the site goes through regular updates and maintenance.
Personally I use https://bpdocs.blueprism.com/decipher-2-2/en-us/home.htm for the current version, but have to update it for each release. Or if you prefer you can use https://bpdocs.blueprism.com/product-help/decipher-help.htm which is more 'static' as you click through from there to the help pages and it auto-updates for the current version.

Also when clicking on the main logo it should ideally take us to the homepage of BP Docs but it is not doing so.

Hey, Ben. No, I am not using any bookmark. Direct bookmark will work for sure but those who don't have it saved will google it.
If you do google it will give you the Decipher 1.1 link and then from there if you switch it will throw you the error.
So either there should be no dropdown in the docs portal itself OR no error.
If you do the same on Blue Prism docs (https://bpdocs.blueprism.com/bp-7-2/en-us/home.htm) then it works fine as the URLs are synced across the different BP versions from the dropdown but not for the Decipher. Again this issue persists for some other product pages as well but I do not recall.
The thing is URLs are not synced across the versions and it changes which causes the dropdown actions to fail. Or maybe the dropdown hyperlink can be updated simply to point to the right page.
My whole point is to make the user experience better with the website so they don't have to jump 3 pages which can be done with 1 click.

Hi Tejaskumar,
Looks like Google have cached the old link, with the incomplete product name. If you search "Decipher IDP help" it comes up with the correct link.
I'll send this feedback onto the respective team to see if there's anything we can do to correct Google results, though I'm not sure how it'll work with the incomplete product name when it's quite a common name (if you consider the rest of the Google search results).
Best way might be to access via the portal, this would be the most common method.

Yeah, the Google results are still secondary, don't you agree with my initial point about the hyperlink fix in the dropdown itself? Isnt that need a fix on the docs portal?

Not really as that's not generally accessible through any of our provided links, it's only online for historic purposes as we still support v1.1. If you go to the current help site, these issues don't exist (1.1 isn't available in the versions dropdown). But please double check to see if you are still experiencing them.
