Blue Prism sever reset

Hi All, We are facing issues with the blue prism server. Yesterday when we logged in to Blue Prism tool all the users and modules that were created over the last 6 months have been deleted. Also, all the audit logs seems to be cleared and we were not able to find any logs between the last 4 days. We are not able to find any of the object / process that were created. Is there a possible way in which we can restore the lost object if we do not have a manual export. Thanks, Shiva

Hi Shiva You should probably log this with support (support@blueprism.com), but do you have a database backup you can restore from? Are you sure you are still connected to the correct database? There is no way for all that stuff to disappear unless something has happened to the database. Sam

Thanks Sam, We had only one database and were connected to the same. Another strange thing that happened was all the users that were created also disappeared. Does this happen if there is a issue with the database connectivity ?

If there was an issue with database connectivity then all that would happen is that you wouldn't be able to log in at all, or you would see errors in the Blue Prism product relating to timeouts getting a response from the SQL Server. That wouldn't cause users (or any other data) to disappear. The only thing that can cause stuff to disappear in the way you describe would be some kind of script or similar that removed data from the database itself. I would suggest that perhaps you may need to review logs from the database, and also potentially take a look at the Blue Prism event log on your Blue Prism Server. Sam

Hi All, Thanks for your support! The folder backup of Blue Prism and SQL resolved this issue, some of the work was lost but most of it was restored. Shiva
