The portal has a document regarding this topic (link below). It shouldn't be much different from setting up on any other VM network. The biggest thing is just making sure you have data throughput between Azure and whatever the cluster needs to talk to. For us, we've been in negotiations with the network and security teams to have a generalized bridge between all corporate azure servers and the rest of our network.
This may vary between companies, but we were also told something along the lines of needing different license types depending on if the systems had client data, internal-only data, and/or if any of them needed to be public-facing. These also affected the network configuration for each scenario (primarily due to a requirement of separate VLANs).
