Converting of document types to PDF

​Dear all

I am Development leader in my first bigger process automation project. In this project the BOT have to upload PDFs files to a program, which only accepts PDFs files due to technical restrictions. Unfortunately, the input for the BOT aren't only PDF files, there could be also another documents types and the BOT have to convert all of them to PDF.

Currently, I identified two types of document types: Images (.jpg etc.) and Word (.doc etc.).

Could someone give me a information or hint, how can I convert Word documents to PDF as well as images to PDF?

I have a limitation due to technical restrictions to use external programs, maybe there is a way to use Blue Prism or another programs within Windows to handle this tasks.

Windows 10 (and Word as well) are able to create PDF files.

Hi,

Within the MS Word VBO, there is an Action called ExportPDF which should allow you to convert your word document to PDF and then make reference to this file.
