Deleting all processes and objects, rebuilding a system

Hi, everyone,

maybe someone has a simple solution. I want to clean one of my systems. The reason is that I want to transfer data from the production system to the test system. But at some point, data from the development system was transferred from the test system. Now, of course, the folder structure / tree structure of the objects and processes is different in the productive system, and I have more environment variables in this system. I didn't want to simply delete the entire database and take a copy from the productive system. For example, I wanted to delete all processes, objects, queues and environment variables, but keep the rest (users, credentials, etc...). Should I delete individual tables from the database (if so, which tables would it be)? Because unfortunately I cannot delete whole or several groups, objects.

Hi Robert,

I would recommend doing in the UI and not the database. Some of the tables have dependencies and it could cause the environment to error.

You will need adequate access from your admin to allow you delete everything. I can't think of a quick way to do it though.

If you're starting fresh, it might just be quickest to create a new db and repoint the environment.

Hi Robert,

You may not be able to delete processes that were run previously from the UI, since those processes may have relational records created in the database. You can attempt to exhaustively delete such data manually if you are actively aware of what they are. I would imagine this is something fairly difficult to do without having access to the database to get an accurate view

You may reach out to Blue Prism Support as I am aware of similar SQL scripts produced for other customers in the past you may tap into.
