Does thelogin agent work on a server?

Hello everyone, My client has provided several servers running under Windows Server 2012 R12 OS instead of VDI to perform our dev tasks. Excel, BluePrim and all the client applications are also installed. We have also installed on one of the severs the login agent (version 2.0.0). Despite following precisely the login agent documentation guide, it couldn't work. The resources are displayed Offline in the control room. Should it be possible that the issue come from the IT architecture? Can the login agent work on a server? Thank you for your help. Best,

Hi Ziad, Sounds like there's something external that's causing the issue then. You are running exactly the same version of login agent and Blue Prism aren't you? Which ID is showing as logged into the machine when you use Terminals? (click on start and make sure it's the credentials logged on). Can you telnet to the application server from the resource using port 8181? Can you do the same with 8199? Looking at the Terminals application - it requires credentials - are you using the credentials from BP or your own? If your own then it would suggest there is an issue with the domain account stored in the credentials - be it permissions or something else. I would suggest adding your own credentials to credential manager and trying to log on using that (from the BP console and login process - and not view it using Terminals). Regards, Steve
