Download pdf from website

Hi,

As I mentioned before, I am totally new member of Blueprism. I have to find a way to download a pdf from a website. Could you please provide me with each step I have to follow in order to be able to download a pdf from a website.

Furthermore, I need to get the latest url from the website everyday. It's the first row of the following table format
23597.png
Then, a new site opens and the pdf is in there.
I would appreciate if someone could help me with the steps I have to follow.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards.

Could you explain what you have tried so far?

If it's possible to do that manually by clicking and what not, then typically you 'can' do it the same way in Blue Prism as you would do it manually. For example, you could have BP click the link, then after the new page loads send keys CTRL-P and then automate printing to PDF.

This would be basically a full tutorial if anyone were to type it out for you. So it's best to explain what you have tried and ask for help on specific technical issues. If it's a solutioning issue, do you have a partner you're working with who can help with this? I suspect that the Blue Prism Foundation Training or other training may help get you the knowledge you need. But again I'm not sure what technical issue you're running into.

Dear Dave,

Thank you for your immediate response.

I try to find a way in order to do it. There is no technical issue.

I try to make an element and inspect the url first and the pdf after that, but truth is doesn't work.

That's why I am asking if there is a certain path to loaf first the url and save the pdf afterwards.

Best

I see. Sometimes it's possible to use Download File in the Utility - File Management VBO, but that's only if the URL directly points to the PDF. If it requires navigating to another page where the PDF then has to load before you can download, it then I'd go the route I described above where you actually let it navigate to the new page and then save the PDF from there.
