Email and CMD?

Hi all, I've been trying to automatize this solution for quite a while, I have to tell you, I'm a newbie in the world of new prism but able to learn as much as I can, I was trying to get a process from the subject of an email and stop it from CMD, but first I dont know how to read an email, do I have to acces first from the webpage and the filter them from unread? or is there a way to acces from my outlook credencials or POP3 or IMAP? and with that problem, I cant find out a solution to open Command Prompt, is there a way? Thanks for your time guys!

Hi, If you want to access mail using blueprism, this can be achieved using MAPIEx or SMTP/POP3 VBO, then fetch the mail based on your business condition. and, Command Prompt (CMD) can be launched from BluePrism using a StartProcess Action item available in the Environment Utiliy, just provide the complete path of the cmd in the 'application' input and your done.

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use IMAP protocol for accessing email on Blue Prism automation? I'm aware of MAPIEx and POP3/SMTP VBOs, but I haven't found any information about IMAP. Thanks!

HI ari, you can try MAPIEx VBO to access mail. If you have configured your outlook with IMAP/POP3 there are some actions which gives the required Information from mail or required mail. But POP3 VBO gives you more Options to filter required information than MAPIEx VBO Regards, Suraj
