Embedding Service Assist into Client Portal

Hi, James,

I have a client with a following request and I believe that SA can handle that through DirectURL as described above but I want to be sure.

The idea is that a vendor is authenticated through 2FA to a client portal. In the client portal there is a link to Service Assist to open a form. So when a vendor clicks on the form no authentication is required and, furthermore, the form can be pre-populated with data which are related to the vendor details.

Thanks for clarification.

Regards,

Zdenek

Hi @Zdeněk Kabátek

As discussed on the call we had this afternoon, I don't think this is possible as DirectLink URL's are normally a one time event and not designed for re-use.

There may be some clever way of changing the HTML link with a new DirectLink after the original one is clicked and submitted, but this is not something we are familiar with at this time.

If you manage to succeed, please let us know and we'll make a Knowledge Base article about it for future reference.

We are also very interested in the possibilities of this. We have no issues with passing the authentication through enablement of SSO but we are very keen to explore possibilities around pre-population of the form for our agents when they click the link embedded in our own portal.

More specifically we do not think we want to use DirectURL function because in doing that we lose interactivity with the processes which are requiring to send multiple action tiles to the agents throughout

Hi @Peter Conway

I'd be delighted to try and help you with this - I'll reach out to Ketan and we will try and get something arranged if you would like?

Hi James, that would be great, there a few other areas that I think we want to explore along with this such as exception management and re-routing processes from one user to another. Would be good to have some discussions around these points.

@SasiAnbalagan1 is keen to have some conversation also.

Hi Peter

Sorry for the delay on getting back to you on this. I'll ask Ketan to get a slot organised over the next few weeks to go through it.

Thanks
