English to Arabic and vise versa any utility of solution available

Hello there,
I need some information about availability of the capabilities or solutions for  English to Arabic and Arabic to English translation with in DTX or Decipher or any tool to integrate with Blue Prism bot design.

Hi Nagul,

Currently Arabic is not supported in Decipher IDP, however it is planned that in v2.3 the OCR engine can be specified by the user. This would enable the user to utilise an external OCR engine, either on premises or in the cloud and this could be one which supports Arabic. This is a roadmap item at this time and maybe subject to change.

With regards to DX assets I would refer to my colleague @ewilson who is best placed to advise on Arabic language​ assets.

Hi Nagul,

There isn't a set date at this time, though I would estimate October 2022. We're currently working towards getting v2.1 release in May/June 2022.

@Nagul Sharif Shaik,

There are various language translation solutions on the Digital Exchange. Most, if not all, will use some cloud service to perform the actual translation, so there may be a cost associated with doing this on any sort of production scale.

Ive used the Azure Cognitive Services API for language translation in the past, and it does support Arabic.

i have tried to explore last year with our internal cloud team for the same but some region issues arise. kindly can you help me by providing the point of contact at Microsoft end to kick start the using of API and any support team at blue prism end as well.

Unfortunately, I don't have any contacts at Microsoft that can assist with this. If your company is a licensed Microsoft customer, you may have a support agreement in place that provides for a certain number of hours or incidents for consulting time. You might check into that. Otherwise, the API is not to terribly difficult to use.

My understanding regarding regional access is that the Cognitive Services Translator service is available globally. Here's the latest I could find in Microsoft's documentation:

Hi Nagul,

We don't have a release date yet for v2.3, though I can say that Arabic language support is not currently included.

I would recommend submitting the request via the ideas option under the "Content" menu at the top of the page. Additionally it would be worth discussing this with your SS&C Blue Prism account manager, as providing them with use case information will help us build the requirement.
