How do you create queue/exception reports and make them show up in the control room?

Hi Pedro - One option is to filter the control room view and then export a CSV:
Another is to use a process to pull items from the queue into a template file. Here is an example https://portal.blueprism.com/products/vbos/queue-reporting
Data Gateways is also a consideration, although this requires more effort to set up. https://portal.blueprism.com/documents/v68-user-guide-data-gateways

Hello John, thank you for your answer, the templates was exactly what i was searching, I noticed there's a readme file warning to not change the structure, but is it possible to customize which values are outputted into the excel file?
Thank you.

Hi Pedro - there are 2 kinds of report possible but the VBO logic should not need to be adjusted.
The Performance Report has a fixed structure and should not be changed, but the Queue Report is intended to be modified. The way that is done is by editing the Excel template that is stored in a data item in the VBO (binary data type). Basically you export the file from the data item, open it in Excel, make your changes, save, re-import into the data item, then run the process. The document provides a more detailed description of the technique.
The Performance Report shows how queue items have been worked (total completed, number of exceptions by type etc) and provides the COE with an understanding of how well a process has been functioning.
The Queue Report is useful as a list of items and could be used as a way to send exceptions to the Business for manual investigation.
