FilterContent not working effectively for Money datatype

VinusangariSara

Hi,

I have been trying to read invoices data. One of my sample invoices has amount field with value including "US$" as prefix e.g. US$123.00. Decipher is extracting the value in amount field as 123.00 but highlighting in red as it recognizes it as invalid money datatype. I tired using FilterContent misc parameter to handle this scenario but still facing the same issue.

I added FilterContent=US in misc parameter of the amount field.

Can anyone suggest the right approach to resolve this issue?

Thanks in Advance,

Vinu

Hi Vinu,

I have a couple of things you can try.

The first would be to adjust the region to manually exclude "US" as Decipher should be able to learn this change.

If that doesn't work you could try adding "US" to the sample headers for the field, as these are automatically filtered out in the data output.

Thanks

As US$ gonna be static you can also try Format Expression in DFD.
