I have multiple files and they have different Date Formats like DD.MM.YYYY , MM.DD.YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY ,
12 JAN 2021, . For few documents with date formats with dd.mm.yyyy Decipher is giving the soft validations errors.
Is there any way to fetch the date with multiple date formats?

Hi Pradeep.
So are you using a single DFD but the different documents have different date formats for a specific field? In other words, say you have invoice date and it has different formats per vendor. Is that what you are talking about?

Hi Pradeep,
The configuration to manage this is the region local. So if you select English-US, Decipher will look for mm/dd/yyyy. You will then find it difficult to use this for other regions, especially where these contradict one another e.g. English-UK, dd/mm/yyyy. This would be difficult to know for many dates which is the month and which is the day.
This may need to be managed via separate Document Types. And if all the documents are quite similar (e.g. all documents are invoices), a classification model may find it difficult to separate them. As such you would then need to split them into different Batch Types prior to uploading them.
Is it possible to determine the region prior to uploading the document to Decipher?
Thanks
