How to know a process is stuck and pending?

Hi
Just wondering how to know a scheduled process is somehow stuck and pending for a long period except watching session management?
Process Alert works for this?
Any ideas?

You could use process alerts to monitor for when a process successfully starts or when a scheudle fales. You could also use a tool to monitor the windows event logs on your appliction server machine (the application server kicks off schedules). There are data sheets related to monitoring in the product area of the portal.

That’s what I thought about already.
Detecting pending status for a certain period itself couldn’t be achieved, right?
