Issue with Application Modeller -Element screen

I am using Chrome , the issue i have is when adding an element to the to the application modeller the element details are grey out and high light button as well? Any idea and resolution?

It seems like you haven't spied the elements , hence the the elements themselves and the highlight button is disabled

I re tired this again
The expression is correct I get the value in the test , but I cannot write this in the login screen .Also as per BP tutorial this needs to be done in the Business Object studio
Still the value in the 'Staff Number' in the login window is blank , instead it should be "bp" as per the data type! Do I need to install BP Chrome Plugin ?

I think the issue is with the element you have spied, which you are trying to write into. It is either not spied correctly, or that it is not found on the screen you are trying to perform write operations to. I would advise to check your spying to see if you can successfully highlight the staff number element again.
