Java based application fails on runtime resources

We have a process that uses java based application and we are running it from the control room. The process is running successful only when we have remote desktop session open. When we don't open the VM (remote desktop) nothing works.  We are using region mode for the spying so it is not throwing any errors where it is failing but strangely everything works when after starting the process we open remote desktop session. please help

This very common forum question is also by far the most frustrating - please ensure your Technical Lead reads and understands the virtualization guide and product data sheets that are part of his/her training path.  If you do not have a trained technical lead available to you (either internally or from one of our Partner Organisations) I recommend you raise that as a project risk with your manager.
