MAPIEX Sendmail stage is hanging Blueprism runtime resource PC

We are installing the automation solution (bprelease) to production setup and this processes uses MAPIEX sendmail stage to send mail. Sporadically we are seeing below issue. 1. Process runs and sends email (because we see email in the mailbox after a while). We do not see any other stage detail logged to the session log (full session logging is enabled). Also process shows as running in control room. Automate.exe process does not respond after that (we are not able request 'stop process' in 2. MAPIEX version used is 1.1.1.5 (downloaded from Portal) and Blueprism version is 5.0.23. MAPIEX VBO is used in the process as-is. Outlook and MAPIEX are both 32 bit versions. We are observing this behavior in production setup only and unable to recreate in lower environment. 3. BP (automate.exe) runtime user id is normal user on the Resource PC. Does it need to have local admin access on the machine.

There is a knowledgebase article which suggests changing the cache setting in Outlook to fix performance issues with Mapiex. It includes instructions about how to do it.
