MS Edge auto-sign-in losing BP Browser Extension

Hi BP Community

We have a large estate of 200+ resource VM's running Windows 2012 R2 Server and MS Edge, which is set to auto-update (mandated by internal IT policy). We deliberately set Edge up without signing in the robot user account, which makes it easier to move resources around.

About once a day we will have a robot that fails to start, when we login as the robot user we find that the profile has been signed in to the browser. This drops all the settings we have made in Edge, including the BP browser extension. The only way to solve it is to sign the user account out of the browser, check the Edge settings and re-enable the BP extension. 

Has anyone else had the same issue, and were you able to solve it?
Has anyone seen the issue in reverse with signed in profiles automatically signing out?

Hi Chris,

Looks like your internal IT team is very strict on policies. hence i would ask you to check with the IT team, if there is any browser policies implemented for user profiles that will prevent them from using additional extensions other than mandatory security extensions installed by IT team.

try installing the extension on edge with the bot account profile on the edge if does prevent you from installing it. you already have your answer.
