I am experiencing the following issue when using MS Outlook VBO to interact with MS Outlook 2019 and more specifically with the action "Get Received Items (Basic)".
When the action is invoked, it prompts the set up wizard for MS Outlook 2016. However, in the VM the version of Microsoft Office is MS Office 2019. Has anyone else experienced the same issue with the 2019 version of Office? My BP version is 6.10.1. Does anyone know if this version supports Office 2019?
Never experienced such scenario, can you check if still Outlook 2016 is default app for mail sending? or Configure new Outlook profile for 2019. Refer here
Your issue is likely associated with your local Office installation. Blue Prism calls the Outlook COM API which can be used by multiple versions of Office from Outlook 2010. Prompting Outlook 2016 setup may suggest there exists reference issue on the VM which made Office to think the call is actually made to Outlook 2016 as opposed to Outlook 2019. Try to uninstall all versions of Office and then install Office 2019 to see if it resolves the reference issues.
