Hello Srikanth,
Is there a reason that you need to write in the 2 documents separately and you can't have 1 template that you can write into to prevent the need for merging two word documents together?
Rather than trying to merge the documents you should be able to copy or replace text in document 1 from document 2 once you have it from the different sources.
Can you give a bit more background detail as to what you are doing and why you are doing it this way?
