Unable to validate the roles or permissions of user

Hi All.

When I go to the "Users" page on Decipher Admin Panel, the displayed list of users is empty and I get the following error: "Unable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'generaluser': The received response is for different requestUnable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'reportuser': The received response is for different requestUnable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'inputuser': The received response is for different requestUnable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'ocruser': The received response is for different requestUnable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'admin': The received response is for different requestUnable to validate the roles or permissions of user 'verifyuser': The received response is for different request".

I tried restarting Decipher services, but it didn't help.

So, the support said that this error could be caused by different versions of the web client and the application server, and this was indeed the case.

Hi Yuliya,

Is there any change to the "generaluser" password recently?  If so, suggest resetting the "generaluser" password in all the automated clients configuration files.
Default installation location of this files is C:\Program Files (x86)\Blue Prism\Decipher Automated Clients

Restart the server once after these changes and test.

I did it, but still have the error. Could it be because of account blocking due to too many login attempts?

Have you deleted or updated any of the users, either their access, username or password? If yes, please can you elaborate?

No. The error appeared the first time Users page was opened

Hi Yuliya,

That's very strange. If you haven't already, I would recommend trying an uninstall, then reinstall, it may be that something went wrong during this process. The database will be unaffected by this, so you won't lose any of your DFD's, etc.

If this isn't suitable or doesn't work, please raise a support ticket so we can take a closer look.
