Monday
Afternoon all,
I recently upgraded from BP 6.8.3 to BP 7.4. All went well. One item that is part of this upgrade (v7.3 upgrade notices) was the installation of a new "MS Outlook Email VBO" from the digital exchange.
With the bulk of the upgrade complete, I downloaded the new MS Outlook Email VBO and imported it (using 'File - Import > Process/Object'). The import succeeded BUT after import I still have a compile error with the new VBO as follows:
Page: Initialise
Stage: Stage1
Type: Error
Action: Validate
Description: Compiler error at top section line -13: could not find library 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.dll'
Repairable: No
I admit I am new to BP. But what am I missing? I was under the impression that the import of the new object from the digital exchange was done to remove the requirement for Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.dll'?
All advice gratefully received!

Post in haste. Repent at leisure.
Simple mistake - I imported the wrong MS Outlook Email VBO (I imported 'Function for MS Outlook VBO - 10.4.5' and not "Function for MS Outlook VBO (NetOffice) - 10.4.4".
Import the correct object and all is well.

I'm glad you sorted it out straightaway! 😉
Just for future reference, you can also update the dll if you encounter the same issue like this. That's what I did when it prompted me with missing dll previously. 😉
