Blueprism 7 vs Windows 11

Hello, 

We are planning to move to Windows 11 soon. I would like to know if there are any known issues with Blue Prism v7 on Windows 11 platform? Blue Prism just says it is compatible and listed one known issue with Notepad app. Nothing besides that. Appreciate any insights and would love to learn about your experience.

At first I read this as Windows 7 to Windows 11, lol. We're on Blue Prism 6 still, but I figured I'd mention that when we transitioned from Windows 10 to Windows 11, the only things that broke were some very few specific elements when using UIA mode. And it depends on how you configured the attributes as to whether it will even affect you. But basically there are some frames and elements that are called different things in Windows 11 UIA. When you transition, I would upgrade your Development or User Acceptance environment first, test all the automations there, and then be ready to deploy any changes required to Production when you update Production to Windows 11.

For the most part, it should be a fairly simple transition.

Sorry for the confusion 🙂 Thank you for sharing your experience Dave. It means a lot! Yes we are going to conduct POC / evaluation followed by regressions before we go to prod.
