V6.10.5 unable to delete scheduler task

Hi team,

We are not able to delete task from a schedule as the option is greyed out and shows popup as below,

Tried different things here but nothing seems to be working so far. Any idea what this message means and how to circumvent this error.

Hello Tejas,

I think there is no option to delete the task in a schedule. please see the link below for your reference. 

BPE error "This task cannot be deleted - it is referenced in a schedule log." and 'Delete' option grayed out when trying to delete a task in Scheduler : (blueprism.com)

Thanks for the direct link to the resource. We already tested the solution mentioned in the article so I created a new test scheduler without any process/session/bot still the option to delete a task is greyed out. When a new scheduler is created and it is never run before so there must be no entry in the logs but still the option is greyed out.

I tried  by adding a  brand new process ( Which never ran from debug or control room) still have the same behavior, When I hover it indicates the same  message ( This task cannot be deleted - It is referenced as scheduled logs)

looks like some thing need to check in the database and see  how the tasks and schedulers are  referenced between diff  tables or same table. I don't have play ground environment to test, But That is some thing I would verify probably that will give some insight around this option.

Yeah, this is a bit weird as the article provides the resolution but it is not working. Also, it is not happening in V7.2
