Despite having a huge vote count we are down more than 4 years on this idea and it's disappointing that it is still not delivered in 2024. @robert.nicklin You can check the vote count on this!
Thanks for prompting a response on this - I'll take the opportunity to apologize for the delay in delivering this enhancement.
To share some insight, back in 2020 this idea was moved in an Under Consideration status as we looked internally to determine what it would take to provide a dark mode in the Blue Prism Enterprise application. Through researching the requirements for this, it quickly became apparent that achieving this outcome in our current application would be a massive effort that would come with extremely high costs. Due to the cost associated with this work, it was decided that this would not be taken forwards at the time. Realistically, back in 2020/early 2021 when this was determined, this idea should have been moved into Not Planned for transparency - this did not happen and I apologize to users tracking this idea for the inconvenience caused.
Earlier this year we brought to market our Next Gen product which has given us much more flexibility around new interface design and development. As a result of that, you'll see that there is now a web-based Design Studio on the product roadmap that will be available to use in Next Gen in H2 2025. It is through this interface that we expect to deliver dark mode to our developers and users.
Once again, thanks for flagging this idea, as it's prompted me to realize that this idea should actually now be sat in Planned - Next rather than "Later". I have updated this accordingly!
Thank you for the update. However, I would kindly request that we avoid mixing the two separate products, BP Enterprise and Next Gen. These ideas are specifically focused on Blue Prism Enterprise, which currently has the largest user and customer base. If possible, could you update this idea for Blue Prism Enterprise, specifically the V7 series? I know that Next Gen already has a dark mode, but this idea refers to Blue Prism Enterprise.
If this is something users would prefer, I would be happy to accommodate - right now we just have "Blue Prism RPA" as a category as we are linking that to all RPA outcomes delivered by the entire SS&C Blue Prism portfolio, not Blue Prism Enterprise specifically.
As mentioned above, if we restrict this idea to be Blue Prism Enterprise specific, it will be marked as Not Planned, as Next Gen where we have the flexibility to take this enhancement forwards.
