The ability to remove the User Name and Password fields on the sign on dialog box  would force users to utilize "Sign on with SSO" button.  If a user needs to change/reset their password a link, that allows manual entry of User Name and Password, could be used.

We regularly get users disable their Chorus User ID, as we suspect within the Chorus sign in page they are presented with the manual Sign in and Password to the left, and the blue SSO button to the right.

There still needs to be the ability to sign in manually via the sign in page (i.e. with a userid and password), but perhaps the emphasis should change so the SSO button is presented more dominantly (e.g. to the left or top), and then an option provided to sign in manually can be reached via a dynamic filter to allow those credentials to be entered?  Thanks.

I am unclear on the driving reason to remove the ability to long on except with SSO.  Please elaborate - reset password requests - especially for a disabled user - to synchronize back to SSO seems tricky?

Hi Karen,

So sorry, I didn't get a notification of your question posted a couple of weeks back.

In my "Subscriptions & Notifications" I think my configuration is correct (there are so many settings!!!) - should I have got an email when you made your reply...or must I check this forum regularly (this method isn't so time-effective)?  I have the 'Email me when someone replies' checked too.

Also, some general questions please (as you are the first to reply): are new ideas given any sort of unique reference when raised, so they can be identified/referred to more easily? This would be really helpful please (also a copy sent to my mailbox would be great).  I've posted 2 other ideas, and neither have been acknowledged (this one is now 2 years old).

Regarding your question re-the driver.

Users sometimes make mistakes. Although they should and can select the big blue single-sign on button to log in (which works fine if they're in the correct AD Group), unfortunately a user (particularly if new) may sometimes attempt to manually fill in the Chorus username and password and get confused.

So the ask was simply to make the SSO option more prominent on the sign in page. However, being able to manually sign into Chorus via a Chorus username and password (which should be the exception and limited to a few users/scenarios) should still be available, however, maybe it should be less prominent (for example as we read from left to right, could the SSO button could be moved to the left and the manual sign on the right?).  TBH this is not a high priority issue, so was just a suggestion.

Many thanks in advance for your time.
