When housekeeping some of our older objects, it's easy to get rid of the code, but very difficult to tidy up the Application Modeller.

The Error report will give you a warning for each Element which isn't used, but this can be very time consuming on larger objects to find the element to delete.

If there was a way any unused/unreferenced elements could be highlighted within the Application modeller (different colour text or an icon maybe), this would make housekeeping much easier.

If I might add one caveat to this, I would suggest that "parent" type items in Surface Automation should be highlighted in a different color so you don't accidentally clear the attributes of the image being used for the items lower in the tree.  Even though the parent item isn't technically being used and therefore shows up in the error checker as an unused element, the attribute definition is required for the lower items to work properly or be modified.
