Hi BP Team,

The ability to select and mark multiple queue items as exception. Not having this option was a bit of a surprise. What happens if you need to mark a huge volume of items? I had to already and it took long. The data provided to the queue was bad so I could not retry and didn't have much of an option.

There should be an option to make changes to multiple items on a page regardless of the status.

Having to do one at a time when you have a large volume items isn't practical.

The items also can't remain in a pending state because then the DW will pick them up.

Along with that, an option to empty a work queue would also be nice. Having to then select all delete multiple pages of data,  if ever needed, can also be unnecessarily tedious.

Thank you,

Thank you @shenryifds,

I understand the request and have set the status to Reviewed, so that you and other members of the community can vote and comment on this request.

As I type this, early January 2025, within the user interface we provide the ability to select all (up to 50 on screen) bulk delete completed / exception items.  If the selected list of items contains one or more items with a different state, then Delete will not be available.

I understand you are wanting, through the user interface, the ability to:

  1. Bulk Mark as Exception
  2. Allow bulk actions, no matter what the state of the item is I.e. All the option to Delete, even when a Pending item is selected (rather than no giving the option to delete any item)

Tip: If you a big list to clear down, it’s probably simpler for you to achieve this through a standard RPA Process.

Thanks again Chris.

Yes bulk marking exceptions I think should be standard. Having to do anything more than even 50 starts to get tedious.

If we have multiple processed and queues running this would be so tedious.

I did see we could bulk mark and delete 50 items at a time on the page. Our concern there was that we have hundreds of pages to still delete. So it's better but either way it's still time consuming.

I understand stand we could build a process to delete queue items and maybe that's what we'd need to do. Just surprising that there isn't an easy way to do that in Next Gen when we know that this is something most companies would want the ability to do without having to build anything or get too complicated.
