Currently the remove buttons are still shown in read only tables. They are disabled and thus not working, so technically that is correct - but it is still irritating to end users of the platform.

Read Only Tables should thus not display the remove buttons at all, which also increases the usable screen space.

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for your idea! Our internal team has reviewed it, and has determined that we Need More Info before we're able to make a decision on how to advance your idea along the lifecycle.

Specifically, we were wondering if there was a reason why you don't want to see those buttons?

Thank you,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

there's two reasons:

- the buttons still being visible is irritating to end users, there was a lot of unnecessary confusion and questions when we showed a prototype containing a read only table

- the buttons take away screen space, that could be used to show more of the table content

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for your suggestion. Following up from Melanie's comment below, we are pleased to move this idea to Planned status.

We are looking at when we might achieve a delivery of this, but I am hopeful it might be included as part of a Q2 release.

You can find the roadmap here searching for Improved table element in forms allowing for increased flexibility and reducing errors
